Simply because it looks this way on all YouTube videos and all cockpit photos I have found.īlah blah blah blah blah :D see the screenshot folder for more details because I need to go and eat some cookies now. This file contains additional information such as Exif metadata which may have been added by the digital camera, scanner, or software program used to create or digitize it. On all cockpit photos the radio panels of the Airbus have an orange illuminated LDC display (on the radio panels with the round LED-indicators of active button and also on the radio panels with triangular shaped green indicators) that´s why I made the LCD display three radio panels orange illuminated. I have seen a lot of pictures with the thrust reverser section illuminated in yellow orange and even red. The illumination of the trimwheel now matches the illumination of the throttle quadrant, and the thrust reverser is now illuminated in orange-red at night. The colour tone of the ISIS and various plugged-in instruments and gauges have been adjusted to match real Airbus photos better. The colour tone of the brake pressure panel was adjusted, also it´s night lighting. I hated that the knobs for display dimming were made so overly filthy and dirty in Fenix v134 that´s why I have implemented nice clean grey dimming knots. It looks comfy cozy romantic with this illumination, to make flying at night very enjoyable. In a real Airbus cockpit depending if it´s an older model, EIS1 EIS2 CEO NEO and if the panel is illuminated with light bulbs or LED you will find a variety of colour hue therefore the colour of the illumination it was a pure decision on good looks. There are different cockpit illuminations reaching from pale yellow almost white to almost intense orange since the A320 series hat her maiden flight in 1989, so it was a pure decision on "good looks" to make the cockpit illumination very golden and amber, because I like that. The cockpit illumination is fully overhauled on pedestal, overhead panel, autopilot section, throttle quadrant in beautyful golden amber. I know that in 75% of all cockpit photos the autopilot panel is darker than the rest of the light-grey-blueish cockpit panels, but I found a lot of pictures with an autopilot panel in the exact same RAL-colour as the rest of the cockpit and it was a decision purely made on the good looks to match it´s colour with the rest of the cockpit. were modified, of course all of them have a new COMP map to prevent strong discoloration under direct sunlight or in twilight.

Most panels, the throttle quadrant, the autopilot panel etc. The most important thing are the COMP file modifications to prevent parts of the cockpit, especially the pedestal, becoming so strange dark-purple coloured in certain lighting conditions, now the cockpit is keeping a consistent light grey-blue colour under all lighting conditions during daytime (but will still become beautyful grey when flying in cloudy conditions just like in all the YouTube videos and cockpit photos). Countless new modifications and texture enhancements all over the main panel pedestal and overhead panel, please see screenshots for more details and better overview.
